General Auditions at Twenty-Something Theatre

by Sean on December 20, 2011

A little bit of cross-promo here, as Twenty-Something Theatre will be producing my next play (tentatively titled Us & Everything We Own) in 2013 — with a public reading in May of 2012. This is an opportunity to get seen by an awesome company with a bright future.

“Twenty-Something Theatre fills an important function in Vancouver’s cultural ecology: it offers edgier scripts, including original works such as Sean Minogue’s Prodigals and, even in its name, attempts to appeal to a younger demographic. Our city needs theatrical entrepreneurs like the company’s artistic [producer] Sabrina Evertt.”

It’s a pretty safe bet that those who come out for the general auditions will be considered as potential collaborators (yes, collaborators — not just mouths with moving limbs) for our newest project together. Throughout the long development of Prodigals, the team we had bonded very well together and I think all of us would say it was an amazing experience. I’m hoping to repeat that for my second play.
